Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 21 because Make Music Day is taking over College Station with free, live music all day long!
We're proud to announce that Brazos Valley Live Music Association (BVLMA) is supporting Visit College Station in this incredible global celebration for our community for the second year in a row. From patios and public spaces to rooftops and local bars, live music will be happening just about everywhere you turn — and we want YOU to be a part of it.
What Is Make Music Day?
Make Music Day began in France in 1982 and has since grown into a worldwide phenomenon celebrated in more than 1,000 cities across 120 countries. It happens every year on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, and it's all about sharing the joy of music with your neighbors, for free.
From beginners to seasoned professionals, this is a day when anyone can play, and everyone can listen.

These incredible venues are opening their doors (and patios, and rooftops) to local musicians, and we’re so excited to see the Brazos Valley music scene shine.
